Looting no longer goes beyond 255

so for Minecraft 1.14 what I liked to do is create an all-destroying super sword with looting enchant of 10,000 and that would flood my inventory with a ton of items so much so that the items would take up about 3 double chests. I freaking loved that, but in the new snapshot it shows enchant level 10,000 but only applies level 255  so instead of overflowing my inventory multiple times it will only give me a few stacks of the dropped items. please fix this I want to have my insane sword back.
