Game crashes at start up and cant see skins

my game crashing at start up, the way around it is by killing Minecraft launcher from task manager, personally i feel like i shouldn't have to kill the launcher from task manager to be able to play, i was told that this was a temporary issue over a month ago but it still is a thing. Also since 1.15 I can't see some skins but others i can, i have tried to fully uninstall and reinstall the game, no mods are present
