(Java edition) Magma block does not hurt player when stood on

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected to take damage when I stood on a magma block without crouching

What actually happened was...:
I didn't take damage

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Stay on Magma block

Do you have the frost walker enchant?

No. However, I have found out that the issue was in fireDamage being set to false. So the issue is resolved.
