when you are crawling (when you are 1 block high) and you switch to spectator by either command or F3+N you are still slow in spectator like you were crawling and it also stops when entering a 2 block or higher area. but this only happens sometimes
What I expected to happen was...:
when turning to spectator i expected it to go back to normal player height and get normal spectator speed
What actually happened was...:
it sometimes keeps the crawling speed and player height even in spectator as long as flying in a 1 high space or inside blocks and only stopped when entering 2 block or higher area
Steps to Reproduce:
1. go in crawl position inside a tunnel by for example a trapdoor
2. switch to spectator by using /gamemode spectator or F3+N
3. it does not happen all the time so maybe you have to try a few times

To consistently reproduce this issue, place a trapdoor on the top half of a block as opposed to the bottom half of the block above, both of which put you in crawl mode. Then open the trapdoor and crawl right up against the block that the trapdoor is placed on and then "close" the trapdoor (so that it is in its vertical position, which is technically open: true). Once in this state, switching to spectator will cause this bug to happen every time.
This is based on my personal testing done in only 1.20.4 so I am making the assumption that this works every time for every world and every affected version.

Still an issue in 1.16.4.
