Sounds slowing quit working when around ocean monument

When playing in or near an ocean monument, the game begins to lag and the sounds slowly begin to quit until the game is silent. Exiting and restarting the game corrects the issue for a very short time. Log is attached, which shows: "Sound engine/ERROR: Allocate new source: Unable to allocate memory"

I am also having this issue, I don't believe it is related to an ocean monument, but the water sounds (fish swimming, bubble streams, etc.) as while as soon most sounds cease after a short amount of time spent in the ocean. If needed I can get a crash log if needed.

I am also having this issue.

I tried my best to repro this, even left a client running (pause on lost focus - disabled) for 10+ hours, but no luck.
I'm inclined to agree with the above user. Maybe not related to ocean monuments.

Is this still an issue for you in the latest snapshot? Currently this is 20w22a. If so, please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.
Also please provide a DxDiag file. See https://minecrafthopper.net/help/pixel-format-not-accelerated/support/#dxdiag for how this can be obtained.
