Villagers in bed asleep.
Player drops food items.
Villagers pathfind to items and pick them up.
Villagers do not exit sleep position, "walk" and "jump" while laying down.

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-157464, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
