Purple glow doesn't happen with enchanted netherite items in F5 view and inventory view

Normally, after enchanting armor, it has a purple glow to give a visual display that it is enchanted. If you enchant netherite armor, and open your inventory or hit F5, the normal purple glow doesn't show up so that you see the armor is enchanted.
