Hi,
I couldn't find a way to have this problem addressed elsewhere. My son wanted me to download MINECRAFT so he could play online with his friends. However, it appears that I downloaded the wrong one. His Mac currently has java version, which I did not notice until after he tried to link up with his friends and was unable to.
Can I get a refund and can you direct me how to download the regular version of MINECRAFT? As you can tell, I am not tech savvy.
Thanks,
Emily

Maybe you want "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition" (if you have a Windows 10 device) which allows cross-platform play (except with Java Edition)
