Trying to type /gamemode will reset the chat, deleting /g

When trying to type /gamemode creative, the /g is deleted randomly.

Does MC-127862 describe your problem (not sure if macOs can be affected)?
Also don't use the label "Urgent_Bug" or anything similar, it has no effect on when the bug will be fixed.
