Crafting Recipes Don't "Auto-Unlock" World

When a world is loaded, and a level.dat file from another world is overwritten into a another world, crafting recipes do not auto unlock

What I expected to happen was...:
Crafting recipes are not unlocking despite having all items/ materials to do so.

What actually happened was...:
For example: when I obtain a log, I should get an automatic recipe unlock for planks, charcoal, etc. However, this does not happen as seen in the attached picture (when cornflower is obtained, the blue dye recipe should be unlocked, but this time it didn't)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create new world (survival is easiest here)
2. move level.dat file from this new world into another one, so that the other one is overwritten (note that the world being overridden should have some degree of being played)
3. open this modified world in minecraft

4. Do something that normally unlocks a crafting recipe (get wood, go into water)

Copying the level.dat is conflating the status of the new world with the old, simply don't do that
