My grass used to be green and now it's brown. Is this the result of an update, or is there a setting that needs to be adjusted?

I have quit the game and reentered to troubleshoot with no changes.

I think you should give more information, like which biome you were in, if you have optifine installed, etc. and you should also check if your in-game settings changed due to updating. Maybe the graphics went from fast to fancy and that's why the grass color changed?
