Yeah I saw this, very strange.
Maybe sheep are eating it or maybe the biome?
This is a new feature in the latest snapshot where ruined portals can spawn in the world. Nothing unusual
Netherite tools cannot burn. So they float in lava. (Since Netherite is found in the nether)
This is a feature called crawling, been in the game for a while now
