Crafting guide search bar doesn't always allow text input

After opening the crafting guide, the search bar can't be typed in until the inventory is closed and reopened. 

What I expected to happen was...:
Clicking on the search bar in the crafting guide should allow text input.

What actually happened was...:
The search bar doesn't let the player type in it. It stays blank.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open your inventory or use a crafting table.

2. Click on the crafting guide book. 

3. Attempt to use the search bar. Nothing happens.

4. Close your inventory (but not the crafting guide) and reopen it. Search bar now works.

5. Close the crafting guide (not your inventory) and reopen it. Search bar no longer works.
