I was trying to use the riptide-elytra trick and in some areas I couldn't use riptide.

um wut i know this is a dupe but its not a dupe of MC-170828 that is completely unrelated

20w17a was extremely bugged in regards to rain. Worlds opened in that version are broken. See MC-179866 and MC-179845 for more info.
