Enderman are not attracted to Endermite

Endermite spawned with spawn eggs do not attract endermen. Is this the same issue?

My enderman farmworks quite fine with an endermite, but you cant use a Egg Spawned one, instead use this command, which will spawn an Endermite the Enderman will be agro towards.: /summon minecraft:endermite ~ ~1 ~ {PlayerSpawned:1}
