[MC-180883] Terrain not rendering on mountain base when on top and looking down

How to replicate:

Seed: 1443596368427554105

Coordinates: -1.7, 105, -31.852

Looking down causes the terrain below the mountain to disappear. Screenshot 4 shows the effect when done in a server.
