[MC-181491] Villagers wont pick up items

Ive dropped; bread, wheat, carrots, and potatoes at the feet of a nitwit, weapon-smith and farmer. none of the items were picked up so breeding is impossible. (possible conditions not met therefore not a bug?)

Perhaps the villagers' inventories are already full?

They are new villagers, I tried to breed them right when I found them so unless the can spawn with full inventories then no. Plus they mostly would have bred already as the weaponsmith and nitwit are in a closed area with 4 bed and the grindstone ( 4 blocks of air then the roof)
