I was mining in a strip mine, and I found a vein of iron. I went to mine it, as it was a cube 8 vein halfway below me, and I was put in to the crawl state between the stone above me and the ore below me. Could not reproduce it after.

I’ve seen this happen a lot around leaves one block above the ground. I’d be standing next to some leaves at eye level, mine the one closest to me and be put into crawl mode for a moment as if I was put underneath the other leaf blocks. It happens to me underground too. If I’m up against a flat wall and mine the block at my feet it will put me into crawl mode and will stay until I move into a 2 tall space.
