Lighting Bug

I dropped an item on the ground and it did not render properly. Look at the picture in the attachment.

What I expected to happen was the item to render properly.

What actually happened: I came up with a render bug.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get a Texture Pack (TP) for MC Version 1.5.2
2. Delete the font folder from the TP
3. Convert the TP to a Resource Pack (RP)
4. Start the game and drop an item on the ground
