Issue still around, 2 months later.
only had this issue more recently, but its still around. cant find anything about how to fix it.
same here.
I forgot to mention I am on windows 11
I am experiencing the same thing too It is very weird and
did happens a lot for realism craft due to the texture swap bug, if that adds some sense on why its random textures becoming pink. Mojang Please fix this. this is prone to happening when using vibrant visuals. Another weird bug is memory leaks but it's not as severe anymore and I do not notice on the task manager anymore.
Also happens on phone
I’m not a developer, but from what I tested and saw, this seems tied to the experimental camera. Hopefully Mojang will address it once it's out of the experimental stage!
By the way, it might be possible to disable the experimental feature if you can access the minecraftWorlds files, like in this video: https://youtu.be/pl6pV1nJYic?si=iJ0JL_x2R23OQ9z3
I personally couldn’t try it myself because of phone security restrictions. (I’m using a Galaxy S23, and I couldn’t access the world files.)
Unfortunately, once the experimental function is turned on, it cannot be turned off again in a normal way :(
Did you turn on "Experimental Creator Camera Function" in the world settings? This aiming bug seems to be related to that setting. If you use an arrow or trident in world that turned this setting off, it's thrown where the cross pointer points. The game version is 1.21.90.27.
I'm also having the same issue, just started up 10 minutes ago I was playing good all night and most of today untill this happened. So far it's only an issue with me as the owner of the server
Also another thing to note, it appears this also then affects the ability to type in the search field in the crafting recipes.
Meaning it is impossible to search for a particular recipe / block
Seems to be a similar issue, as it was on a local server
Found a workaround to this bug while applying a workaround to MC-162253.
All I did was place a layer of transparent blocks (ie. glass, barrier blocks) over the area I wanted to show on the map. I did this at y = 255 but from a little bit of testing it seems like any y value will work, even 1 block above the issue at y = 1.
Done on version 1.16.4/1.16.5 on Java Realms.
Try loging into minecraft
Down again… nothing I do is fixing the issue.
