Please identify the link to the duplicate issue as I cannot see it in “Open Bugs”, and the issue wasn't resolved server side for release 1.21.60.10. only client side. In fact it was made worse server side in the latest update and the link given in “release-notes.txt”, simply brings you to the change log. As previously stated, it was not fixed in the server software, only client. Either change the link to split server software and game software change logs, or actually fix what is claimed to be fixed.

This is what to be expected in programs that do not have any support for Arabic characters. But actually the letters aren't shown individually, and the game shows the letter order and their renders correctly (except some which we'll discuss later). The only applied part could be if the sentences are mixed with English or other LtR languages, which is something totally else that is not our subject of this bug. In that case, it makes the split parts of the sentence backwards. As of now, the overall Arabic letters are still readable and is in the correct form.

Minecraft versions before 1.15 were fine. This bug has affected every single version of Minecraft after one of the snapshots. It was fixed for common Arabic letters but hasn't been fixed for some other letters (the exceptions I mentioned earlier) of languages that use the same Arabic letter writing. For this instance, Malay language is also affected as far as I'm aware.

This is still an issue for my friend, she bought realms so we could play on it but she keeps getting the same issue and getting disconnected again and again.

We have been struggling with this issue for over a week now and none of the fixes have worked. Mojang rly has to fix this shit

Still affects 1.16.220 release. Mostly on mobile phones but can sometimes accrue win10 as well.

I think that is part of the model, not a glitch.

That has happened to me once too. The only way to fix it would probably be by reverting the world to a previous save if you are able to.

Can be fixed by opening /usr/share/applications/minecraft-launcher.desktop and replacing

Exec=/opt/minecraft-launcher/minecraft-launcher
with
Exec=env GTK_CSD=0 /opt/minecraft-launcher/minecraft-launcher
