Village lamp post torches attached to wrong block.

Please provide the seed of the world and the coordinates of the village

Village coordinates: -292 69 246 (also the coordinates of the block the torches are supposed to be attached to)

Confirmed. The torch snapped to the south face of the gravel block, the north face of the torch block.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

This still occurs in the current Minecraft version, 1.6.2.

Terrain generation changed in 1.7.2.
