MC-182427

Placing grass block on snow gives the grass block snowy texture.

What I expected to happen was the grass block would not have the snowy variation:
I expected right-clicking one layer snow would either replace the snow with a default grass block, or the grass block would be placed on top

What actually happened was the grass block replaces the snow and the grass block that is snowy variation:
The grass block placed on the snow has the snowy variation. The grass block looks as if there is snow on top of it, but the snowy grass block has no snow(block or layers) on it.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right-click one layer of snow with a grass block

Notes:
The snowy grass block will stay snowy until the block above is updated
The snowy grass block will not revert to a regular grass block unless the top is updated or the block is moved

Can confirm for 20w18a (macOS). It seems to be an actual bug (source) as the F3 screen displays it as snowy: {color:#00875A}true{color} and the clone command creates a snowy grass aswell. Reloading the textures, chunks and/or the world does not fix the issue.

Updating the block by placing other blocks does not work, except for placing them directly on the block. The block can be fixed by moving it with a piston, however.

May be indirectly related to MC-160797.

Looks like a duplicate of MC-182423.

I updated the description to include the block being moved also causing it to revert to grass block.

I also added a new screenshot with the F3/debug screen turned on.
