I'm trying to make a parkour map in the new 1.16 nether. I used generic.max_health to give the player 2 hearts. However, if you miss a slime block jump, you take 1 heart of damage when you have the command /attribute @p generic.max_health base set 1 running. Without the command, if you miss the same jump, you take 16 hearts of damage. Could someone please fix this? Thanks!
