[MC-184600] Stronghold portal room can be cut off

The bug

The portal room in the stronghold is cut of at both sides and the lava flows into the side corridors.

In 1.19.3 Pre-release 2 I seem to have encountered this in a stronghold in seed 1 at /tp -20650.22 -1.00 -737.28 - however, this exact part of the stronghold appears to have generated differently on the original world I encountered it in versus a recreation of the world for reproducibility. No portal room to be found elsewhere.

Would it be possible for this ticket to be reviewed? A Won't Fix for this is a decidedly unsatisfactory resolution. Having to trek thousansds of blocks to a stronghold with several eyes of ender only to find no trace of a usable portal doesn't strike me as an issue worth brushing aside. In addition, the employee responsible for the resolution no longer appears to work for the company.
