Switching from adventure mode to creative mode stops you from being able to build

The bug

switching from adventure mode (to survival mode?) then onto creative mode bugs your game and makes you unable to place blocks. you can still place blocks, however.

To reproduce

1. Create a new creative world

2. Set your gamemode to adventure and back onto creative

3. Try and place a block
   -->[Game prevents you to place a block]
