What I expected to happen was...:
When I chopped a jungle tree, the vines would disappear.
What actually happened was...:
The vines just stayed in midair.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Chop down a naturally occurring jungle tree.
2. Wait for leaves with vines on them to decay (don't destroy them yourself)
3. Look at the floating vines.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
No response in 4 months, assuming no longer an issue.
If a tree has vines on it, right up to the leaves, and you break the log two blocks below the leaves, and then the log directly below the leaves, the vines will remain where the lower block was.
