[MC-185842] Return portal at 0, 0 in the end not working correctly

When I go to the end I exit into the end portal. But sometimes when I go into it, it has the "Joining Game" and "Downloading Terrain". But after this, I'm in the End and on top fo the bedrock pillar at 0, 0. This may because at the time my spawn point wasn't set but I could not get out. This was on a multiplayer server so I had to have an admin teleport me out to another player. This also happened to 2 other people on the server.

Does the server use any modified software, such as Paper or Spigot?

Sorry for the late response. Yes, the server is a Spigot server.

This issue has been closed as invalid.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.

Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
