[MC-186100] Items appear dark in GUI on certain graphics cards

All items in the players' inventories appear to be dark, nearly black. This happens in the inventory, chests, and even ender chests. This does also seem to happen in mobs, too, though I do know that there is already a bug report in for mobs.

Please provide more details about your system (CPU, GPU etc.)

Please also force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.

I can confirm this bug with the Intel HD Graphics 5500. I have the same issue.
