Every time i go to the nether everything stops moving. Everytime i try to break a block nothing drops. Can not go back to overworld..only way to do this is to fully shut down laptop

Holding down f3+c for TEN SECONDS should cause a crash to happen. if you are on a mac add on Fn (function key) to the mix.
