[MC-186942] block pick (middle mouse click)

if you pick block with a nonenchanted tool the tool gets replaced if the tool is enchanted a different slot is replaced

This issue has been closed as invalid.

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.

Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.

In creative, this is intentional. The issue you are having is that one of the mods you are using lets you overwrite your inventory in Survival.

the problem is not me getting an extra block the problem is the block is replacing the tool that i am using but it does not do that with an enchanted tool

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.

you hot bar is full and you have a non enchanted tool in your hand and you middle mouse click on a block that is not in your hot bar your tool will go into your invontory. if the tool is enchanted the tool will stay where its at and another hot bar will get replaced. wether you are in creative or survival
