[MC-186955] Item textures are black and shadows on chests and mobs are messed up

All of the item textures in my Minecraft hardcore world are black, and my entity, chests, and mobs' shadows are messed up. I don't know what caused it. I don't know if it's corruption, or a bug.

I read other issues and a lot of other people are having the same issue. Is my graphics card not up to date with Minecraft or something?
