[MC-188666] Brown mooshrooms do not have a spawn egg

In the creative inventory there is a Red Mooshroom Spawn Egg, but there isn't any for Brown Mooshroom.

There is no Brown Mooshroom spawn egg; Brown Mooshrooms appear when Red mooshrooms get struck by lightning.

Yes I know, but this is an inconsistency. Why there is an Spawn Egg for Zombie Horses, that can never spawn naturally, but not for Brown Mooshrooms?

Brown mushroom are not a separate mob it is an NBT tag, so they shouldn't have a spawn egg.

@bugsbugsbugs That makes no sense because there are so many mobs, such as the different types of horses and zombies, that were previously an NBT tag and they have their own spawn egg.

When these mobs got their spawn egg, they were made a seperate type of mob, so it is no longer an NBT tag for this mob. When they would add a spawn egg for brown mooshroom, they’ll probably make it a seperate type of mob.

In that case, snowy fox is also affected. It does behave a bit different from the red one. But should it be added to this report to make it "some mob tag dependent variants don't have their spawn eggs" or something like that, or should it just get its own ticket?

Talking specifically about mobs that look and behave differently depending on the tag. For example, sheeps and shulkers in any color variantion will behave exactly the same, as the "basic" one.

However, this would be a very inconsistent change to be made, as Strider's "cold" state also depends on the tag I believe and adding "cold strider" spawn egg wouldn't make any sense.
