[MC-188743] Maps are blank

All the maps created BEFORE and AFTER the 'Mansion Update' are still ok BUT the maps made during the 'Mansion Update' are now blank.

I also had a lot of maps showing the locations of many different Mansions (those bought from the cartographers) and none can be read... they're all blank.

Please be absolutely certain that this world was not opened in any other 1.16 snapshot or Pre-release other than 1.16 Pre-release 4, and that no mods such as Fabric were ever used.

Who ever said it wasn't opened in other 1.16 Snapshots? It was. This problem appeared when I loaded your snapshot from about 3 weeks ago I think (the one before the 'Pre-release).

But no mods were ever used. Never any mods. I confirm

This was fixed in Pre-release 3, however, it may not be possible to retroactively fix corrupted maps. Please check if this issue occurs with a backup from 20w20b or earlier on 1.16 Pre-release 4.
