The game put me in the ground, then everything froze in my world.

I went to save my game because I had some good things. Then after my world loaded it showed me dying in the ground and taking damage. At around three hearts I will stop taking damage and I can break block but they don't appear, and I can't eat food and I can't die. Every mob stops moving. Then if I go to leave the game it gets stuck at the saving world screen. I don't think its lag because the world loads and I can place blocks, but if I break then they disappear. I hope this is a easy fix for my world.
