Slides off tilled dirt or path blocks

Whenever I am on tilled dirt or dirt that is right clicked by a shovel, I slide off to a lower elevation, like an invisible water stream is there. It only happens when the tilled dirt is one block above the ground. 

To recreate this, you put a block of dirt on the ground, till it, jump on top of it and you'll slide off.
