Grass Block pushing me off

When i jump up onto a "grass block" [see screenshot] it places me on the edge and then will push me OFF from the same direction i jumped up on it. If im quik enuf and i hit space bar [jump] it will let me proceed. But like, if i come to the edge of a grass block, say coming back the way i just came [not jumping onto] and anywhere near the edge it will push me off it.
