Water pulls you towards it when standing on farmland one block above it while in multiplayer

What I expected to happen was...
What I expected to happen was that you would stay where you maneuvered your player

What actually happened was...
What actually happened was that the water acted as a magnet if you stood too close to it. You would be pulled toward it.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Stand on a flat surface
2. Dig a 1x1x1 hole in the ground
3. Place water in the hole. (Flowing or still.)
4. Till the soil two blocks in every derection, and complete the corners, and fill in.
5. Walk closely to the water.
(You can waterlog the block, but it still happens.
