Realm's Unsaved Data

I've had this happen twice to me in the last week, unfortunately it is gamebreaking for me. If it happens again, I'm done. Realms isn't updating enough and saving data. I've logged on after 3 hours of work to find that the entirety of my work is gone and there are zero saved backups. It's as if the realm just stopped backing up the game. I love this game, I really do, but getting on to find you've lost a lot of progress is so gut-wrenching that until I get confirmation that this is fixed, I won't be playing minecraft realms or resubscribing again.

I don't know what triggered this, it's happened twice, the first time I only lost like 20 minutes, but this last time I lost about 3 hours which is pretty demoralizing. Looking at the backups they seem to be extremely random, I would love to have more frequent backups even at the expense of gameplay... losing progress sucks.
