end gateway don't work normally

After beating The Dragon Ender a bridge leading to the city of the ender appears (nothing abnormal)

Once the path to access it built I decide to throw a pearl in the bridge to teleport me.

But instead of being teleported to the cities of the ender, I reappear next to the catwalk.

I then decide to use water to swim in it but I continue to teleport to the stairs

that's working with all player and it's the only one to do this.

you could tell me what kind of problem I'm dealing with and if possible to tell me how to get around it/fix it.
