I was recently playing a hardcore world in which I found a nether bug
Occasionally, invisible Piglins are generated in the bastions.
For example: you can be building inside a bastion and in some blocks you are not allowed to build because there is a piglin (clearly invisible).
The only solution I had to this problem was to go out and re-enter the world I was playing in

True, it is only with the piglins of the bastions.
Although attacking it with a crossbow or bow, I doubt it works, I tried to attack it with everything and it didn't seem to suffer any damage.
Just had the exact same issue with an aggroed piglin (was farming gilded blackstone) in a bastion in hardcore. I was using optifine. Once i logged out and back in it was visible.

I believe this applies to more than piglins in bastions, as far as I can see it applies to any hostile mob, the only way I've seen to get them to re-visualize is by either quitting and reentering the game, or by shooting them with a crossbow held in the off hand.
