The Bug
When you do
/summon minecraft:enderman ~ ~ ~ {NoAI:1,carriedBlockState:{Name:"barrier"}}then hold a barrier in hand the barrier won't render in the Endermans hands.
Replicate
Do
/summon minecraft:enderman ~ ~ ~ {NoAI:1,carriedBlockState:{Name:"barrier"}}
Then do /give @p barrier
Hold the barrier
Notice that the barrier doesn't render when the Enderman is holding it

Pulpetti added a screenshot with their F3 open while showing this (they have Optifine), I just want to make sure everyone who sees this ticket knows that it works without Optifine 🙂
i can confirm this bug probably happens because the enderman that's holding the block is different and doesn't work with barrier items
This has been successfully reproduced by me in 21w13a, so please add 21w13a into the list so mojang knows its still an issue.Â
