I am pretty sure it was added to bedrock in the nether update like in java, but I haven't tested it on bedrock before 1.16.
I'm also able to confirm this. It's much better on bedrock and it hasn't always been this way on bedrock, this only changed in bedrock 1.16.
When was the better visibility added into Bedrock Edition? We can only accept parity issues from 1.15 or above, so if it was like this before then, this issue will have to be marked as Invalid.
