Tamed cats wont Breed

I have three tamed cats on a single player hardcore world. After taming two, I fed them Salmon and they got the hearts over their heads.
I expected them to run towards each other and after a few seconds produce a baby kitten.

Instead the cats got hearts over their heads and then ignored each other. They didn't run towards each other and they didn't create any kittens. I doubled checked by making sure they were basically standing (Not Sitting) next to each other and fed them again and they still didn't care at all.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a 1.16.1 Hardcore single player world. (I don't know if I created this world before or after 1.16 came out. It might have been 1.15.2 but I don't think so/remember)
2. Tame two Cats
3. Try to breed them.

Hi there!

Please take a screenshot, while in this world and experiencing this issue, with your F3 debug menu open, and attach it to this report. As @unknown wrote below, this issue duplicates MC-146132, but it's always better to gather a bit more information before resolving as Cannot Reproduce. It could be an issue with a mod/datapack or something like that.

Thanks for the help. So I recreated the situation and had F3 up and this time they bred just fine. Not sure why honestly but I guess it's not a bug then? Should I still send in a screenshot the next time I try to breed them or does it sound like the problem has resolved itself?

Hi there!

If it happens again and you have any more information other than what's on MC-146132, add a comment on that ticket (not this one) with your screenshot. Any helpful information on a "Cannot Reproduce" ticket could lead to a fix in the future. Also, if you did anything special in order to reproduce it that time, add that to your comment, as tickets without reproduction steps are hard to confirm/fix.

Thank you 🙂
