Steps to recreate:
Get into a boat or a minecart
Try to sleep in a bed at night
As you can see, you sleep in the vehicle.

Can confirm, but note that you don't really sleep in the vehicle but sleep in the same position of the vehicle, for example if you sleep while standing on a moving minecart you'll start sleeping on the ground and the minecart will go by himself away. Anyways i do not know if this is really a bug or a feature.
