In my minecraft realm, we grow lots of berry bushes in the nether. Until recently there were no problems with that but recently several bushes have been refusing to grow. We can't figure out why some grow and most won't. We aren't sure if this is a problem on the overworld because we haven't played there for awhile.

The recent update may have disabled plants from growing in the nether. Try doing it in the overworld.
For now, this issue should be marked as "Works as Intended".
Also, if this is a realms issue, this should be in https://bugs.mojang.com/projects/REALMS and not here.
