[MC-19633] WASD keys unresponsive on Mac

When I open one of my worlds, the WASD keys work as normal, but a few seconds later they stop working and are unresponsive. This continues until I do something like break a block, then the keys continue working.

Does this happen repeatedly, or just once?

It has happened several times.
