In any given world, after pressing the Emote Button the game will freeze. To correct this, I have to close the application and then open it back up. The music remains on, but there is no response visually or from controller input. This has only been an issue since the 1.16.1 update. Fortunately the auto save feature works and has not lead to any data corruption yet.

It’s for whichever version that is available for PlayStation 4. I just want to play the game that I love without having to run into a problem like this. I’ve submitted the report again as appropriately. Thank you Anthony Cinielli for the assistance. Also I did a thorough search into the reported bugs and did not find an issue similar to this.
Java Edition does not have an emote button.....
