On clicking 'play' in launcher, the window opens, but displays only a white screen. Game sound can be heard. Have updated nvidia drivers, Windows 10 updates and uninstalled and reinstalled game multiple times, including deleting all associated files and starting from fresh. Worked once for about an hour after that, but now the same fault is being seen.
NB. I am a mum of a 9yo playing on my laptop... please give clear instructions for how to resolve this.

Thanks for getting back to me. What makes you think I have malware installed on my PC? My AV is up to date, and I did an extra AV scan when we first had the problem at the weekend and it didn't find anything. I asked Mojang Support on twitter what to do and they had told me to log on here.
