some villagers when passing on a minecart, select a bed along the way (as it was before when passing near a workbench) and they always go to that bed, even during the day and this interferes a lot when moving villagers to new houses in the village and prevents them from taking up professions in their new homes; perhaps a solution to this problem may be that villagers would only go to any bed if they had only slept once.

in 1.16.1 there is a question that if I break a bed and put it in the same place it’s like I haven’t broken it. I will wait for the stable version of 1.16.2 to come out to test while I am still renovating the village, thanks!

How far away from the bed is the villager? You can also break the bed to prevent the villager to try to go back to it if it is too close. Also note that 1.16.2 should bring improvement for this.
